Here in Troncones , I have had the best luck with 1/2 oz to 3/4 oz Kastmaster,Silver spoons, I take off the treble hook and replace with a single hook. I have caught ,Bonitas,Pargos, Hurels and something I never saw that stripped off all My line and never looked back. I think it might have been a Rooster.
You need the weight to get in fishable water.
Also have had sucess with Hurricanes, but the best is with Kastmasters.
